Love Is In Full Bloom

Valentine’s Day is a time to show those whom you love that they are important and valued.  For the ladies at Abba House, a women’s recovery home in Georgia, we wanted to show them just that.

Even though winter was in full bloom, and temperatures were low, P.E.S.T. Relief International and our team of volunteers brought a lot of love and warmed the hearts of all the ladies and their children on this special day.

A team of pest control experts, including one who came from all the way from Virginia, performed exclusion repair for the rodent problem, and to keep out those six-legged intruders, we made some much-needed repairs to a screened door.  In addition to showing our expertise and leadership in the pest control field, we also demonstrated that we also know how to serve with a flair of style!   Under the guidance of interior designer Elaine Loftus, the team beautified two bedrooms with new bedding, comforters, and pillows.

Two of the bathrooms were also decorated with new shower curtains, bathmats, and accessories.   We even brightened up a community room with a new coat of paint, where program residents can host visiting family members.  Upon completing the “heavy lifting’ in true Valentine’s Day style, we distributed twenty gift baskets filled with goodies with individual notes of encouragement to the residents and staff.
