Help Us Bring Relief to the Victims of Hurricane Michael this December!

On November 2nd, thirteen volunteers touched 800 lives with a small band of helpers from South Georgia. CPCO of GA and P.E.S.T. Relief International sent their forces to the front lines of Marianna, Florida, a city devastated by Hurricane Michael on October 10th. While many of us indulged in our daily routines, totally unaware of their needs, this small little town was desperately waiting for aid. Marty and Cindy Jones, along with Steve and Odessa Hall, partnered with New Hope Baptist Church to cook and distribute 800 hamburgers to the community, some of which some had not eaten a hot meal since the storm.  Others in the area joined in the efforts of the Georgians and brought bread and packaged foods to distribute as well.

Many were broken as they acknowledged their need for Christ and the salvation He brings. “At least 6 people got saved. Their hearts were tender; they had just lived through a life changing event,” said Cindy Jones of Prestige Pest Control and a Red Cross Veteran.  “There is a great need for clean-up that FEMA can’t provide. They are doing their best, but the devastation is overwhelming. Once FEMA pulls trees off the houses, someone else has to remove them and repair the damage”.

On December 6-8th, P.E.S.T. Relief and CPCO of GA will send another team back to the area.   This time we will be in Wewahitchka, Florida to help repair and restore the Taunton Family Children’s Home.  The team will be removing trees, clearing debris as well as replacing mattresses and bedding that were damaged by the flooding.  The children will be participating in a soccer clinic, with food and fun to follow the active day.  And every child and house parent will be presented with a Christmas gift to demonstrate the unconditional love that God has for mankind.

If you would like to volunteer or fund this project, your tax-deductible contribution can help us achieve maximum impact as we return to the devastation that is quickly fading from our nation’s memory.

We invite you to join us as we show the world who the pest control industry is: a united force that is taking comfort and relief to the next level in bringing hope, restoring dignity and enabling life-transformation.
